What If I'm Not Home?
It happens — the driver shows up and you're not there. Here's what we do and how to fix it.
Someone Must Be Present
Someone needs to be present to receive the delivery. We can't leave orders at the door, with a neighbor, or at a front desk unattended.
This is a legal requirement for cannabis delivery in Florida. Unlike food delivery or packages, cannabis products must be handed directly to an adult 21 or older with valid ID. We take this seriously — it protects both you and us, and keeps us in compliance with state regulations. The person receiving must be able to show their ID and confirm the order, so make sure whoever's accepting the delivery knows it's coming.
Driver Arrival Attempt
When the driver arrives, they'll call or text you. If you don't answer, they'll wait a few minutes and try again. If there's still no response, they'll move on. You won't be charged unless the order was already paid for — in that case, we'll work out a redelivery.
Our drivers typically wait about 5-10 minutes after the first contact attempt. They understand things happen — you might be in the shower, dealing with a work call, or just didn't hear your phone. They're patient and willing to wait a reasonable amount of time. However, they do have other deliveries scheduled, so if we can't reach you after multiple attempts, they'll need to continue their route. We'll always try to make it right, but the faster you respond, the smoother everything goes.
What Happens to Your Order
If the driver can't complete the delivery, your order returns to our facility. For prepaid orders, we'll store your items and coordinate a redelivery at no extra charge. If you hadn't paid yet, no harm done — just place the order again when you're ready. We keep your order details on file, so reordering is quick if you want the same products. You can also browse our menu if you'd like to adjust anything for the next attempt.
We understand life gets busy and timing doesn't always work out perfectly. Our goal is to make the redelivery process as seamless as the original order would have been.
Rescheduling
If you miss your delivery, contact us and we'll reschedule. Depending on timing, we can often attempt redelivery the same day. If it's too late in the evening, we'll set you up for the next morning.
Our customer service team is flexible and understanding. We've rescheduled hundreds of deliveries and we're good at finding solutions that work. If you know you'll be available later that same day, let us know right away — if the driver is still in your area or heading back that direction, we might be able to swing by again within a couple hours. For next-day redelivery, morning slots usually fill up fast, so reach out as soon as possible to secure your preferred time.
How to Avoid Missing It
- Use scheduled delivery — pick a time window when you know you'll be home
- Watch for texts — we send an update when the driver is on the way
- Track your driver — the real-time map shows you exactly when they'll arrive
- Keep your phone on — the driver will call if they can't find you
- Add delivery notes — include gate codes, parking instructions, or apartment details in your order
- Set a reminder — especially if you scheduled delivery hours or days in advance
Someone Else Receiving?
Can't be there yourself? Have a friend, roommate, or family member receive it for you. Just let us know their name so the driver expects them.
The person receiving still needs to be 21+ with a valid ID, but it doesn't have to be you personally. This is perfect for situations where you're at work but your partner is home, or when you're traveling but want to send products to someone else. Just add their name in the delivery instructions or contact us before the driver arrives. This small heads-up helps the driver confirm they're handing the order to the right person and speeds up the whole process.
